My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who are in the path of Hurricane Sandy...

WELL, WELL

Well, well, here I am ..... lolol....I have been swamped...first we closed up the camp and trailor, took two weekends to bring and put away etc...also started to go to an awesome gym (http://thebasementonking.com/) love it....then given all lot of attention to our new member of our family "Memphis", she is awesome Basset Hound, 3years old got from a friend who's mom was very ill with cancer and could no longer take care of her :(  she's a little spoiled and  loves lots of attention, loves the grandkids big time...easy going, but her smeller is something, when she picks up a scent (while taking her for a walk), her nose is to the ground and hard to walk so I went and got her a "Halti"..what an amazing tool... she walks like a queen and love to walk her... Also a bed hog, bought a big fluffy dog pillow and she fell in love with it, can't believe she actually slept on it since Friday without us asking her to or take her off our bed..good girl....last few weekends, I pulled the old yucky rug downstairs and put in son's room laminate flooring, now have to lay that the rest of the basement....much nicer and easy to keep clean..yesterday (Saturday) our guild had a one day retreat...oh what fun we had...I worked on a bag "Diamond Island Bag" omg, what a challenge...I'm still playing around with the strips ekkks....this isn't a beginner project..also working on scrappy strip quilt for the camp..I've finished two tops but couldn't quilt til put son's room back together...have to set up Gracie so I can boogie... well, hope everyone is having a great fall...and also happy holloween to all ...

FALL

Friday

Wow, Friday already, I've been trying to clean up so I can get quilting again...but first have to clear out son's room so I can (and he can help lol) pull the old rug out and put in cool laminate flooring...it's an old shaggy kinda rug and needs to be gone.. hopefully before Christmas have the rest of the basement same rug gone....have all the stuff but need the time, no camp this weekend but next have to go out (lol) to close up the 5th wheel, then play at home LOLOLOL...I'm already looking forward in going back really early spring to do the inside.... Anyhoot just wanted to check in cause I'll be starting a few gifts (quilties of course) this week and will post more .....so....Happy Friday my friends enjoy...oh I also started going to this cool place called " The Basement on King" omg what a workout...Ciao, Salute, Adios, Night, Bonsoir mes amis.....PS: only 13 more weeks ladies....I'm panicking LOLOL...

Oh My.....more like Yikes...lolol....My bad bad..I havent posted since March..so much happening my head is spinning, my apologies please (PWL).  We have been away since June and yes had to many birthdays, we had the twins baptism and more bdays and then off we went to Manitoulin Island..ahhh beautiful place but no internet lol.  And a brain storm happened lol, we decided that our fifth wheel isn't big enough with daughter and 4 boys come our and felt bad she and twins slept in a tent...not much room to move around when it rained so, we decided to build a cabin and with only few hands (LOL) we did this without the new fandangled power nailers..alllll by hand. We are almost done the outside, only two more sides of soffits and wooohooooo ready for next spring to start inside... Back to work we are...drive those students to school, nice to see all those familiar faces.. I've cleaned off my Janome and will be quilting..hummm need more quilts for camp now LOLOLOL...here's a few pics of our camp ...enjoy, I sure am ....Ciao, Salute, Gnight and bonne journee...

SHAME

Shame, shame....yep....haven't blogged in a while..shame on me.... I have been visiting many blogging friends however, too many ideas, ekks..lolol.. Now that I am on March break, I have plans....well, maybe I should say "I am gonna do it"...I put my daughter's quilt on the frame last week and went to quilt when lots of fowl words came out...yep.. me...my surestitch stitch regulator isn't working...so....I fiddled, and fiddled..^%^&#@ thing all the lights are on and no go...so I google problems on this matter and might have the answer...something about the contacts on the rollers...ugg...not pissing around with that right now (sorry) but want to finish this so I can finish another smaller quilt...hummm I still have the manual stitch thingy from the Gracie II that came with it.. well, finally away I started..woooohoooooo but now to late to continue cause son wants his room back for the evening LOLOL..ok..so tomorrow I'll get back downstairs (in his room) and I'll stitch away but just for few hours cause we need to get over at the in-laws, it's hubby's mother's 85th birthday...can't miss that cause she's a special lady... Not much else new, only trying to knit socks that the pattern don't make sense lol..also knitting "newfie mitts" those are really cool..have to make a few so I can give as Christmas gifts...
