My Friday

SO, It's been a wonderful quiet day. Got a lot done (cleaning up that is). I did get a few stuff organized and packed. Took time this afternoon to enjoy this and added my borders to my quilt. Need to put binding then clip,clip,clip. Will have to take a good picture. Just making supper now and thought better add a note here, I will be going to curl tonight.....will update yous on how our team does. LOL....

My Friday

Ummm, well today is sorta my Friday. I'm off for 2 days. Today was a good day with the boys, acutually they were really good. Hubby keeping busy looking for a cargo trailer (hehe) keeps him out of trouble (I think). Snow is melting, can't complain, it was nice hearing the little birds chirp, only thing is that the big ravens were squaking too, can't win them all. Looking forward in relaxing, quilting, cleaning and organizing my crafty room. I'll have to take more pictures tomorrow and post. Went to the gym today, good feeling and energized now. Maybe will tidy up tonight, more time to do the rest. Love it...hehe.....

Grand Day

Warmer even yet today, a balming +7c Woohoo. Keep on coming sun. Grandsons were pretty good today (of course amma hehe). Hubby off and did some little unfinished projects he had started. Done. Wow. Awesome evening went to my fitball class, had great workout. Feel refreshed.... ENERGY .....And then.........
I did some, not much, but some. I'll have Thursday and Friday off. I'm hoping that I get this border done so I can put this puppy together . It's part of a rag quilt I'm making. I have made a few of them, it's one of those quilts that you can do and not have to worry about sandwiching, basting, quilting etc...... All flannel and cozy and warm lap one. Wow I'll be set for next winter. LOL One for me and one for you....

Woohoo

Woohoo, it was wormer today a whole +2 c. . Sunshine and all. Did a little quilting, not much, finished off placemats for my mom for Mother's day. Will have to mail out along with one of Denise's card beautiful. (check her out at http://todays-photos.blogspot.com/ awesome pics) ... Didn't get to go to gym today but did go curling. This is our finals club champion. Tied the 8th end so we had to curl an extra end. Boohoo. lost by 1 ... Oh well, was great exersises. HEHE....

Here's my placemats which mom want pastelly pinks etc... would have like to add more colorful fabrics but she's mom.

Ok, so hubby is trying to hurry up the snow to disappear.LOL

Warmer

All right, today it warmed up. Sunny and started to melt. Would you look at that, I found a piece of that stuff , you know , hehe, grass (maybe yellow but still). Look like maybe we will get spring after all. LOL

Wow we (Denise & I) went for a good walk. That was awesome. Felt great to finally stroll ..hehe.. Tomorrow another day. Hopefully just as great as today.

Grandma Day

Crazy day, what's new LOL.... Today went not bad, little hectic this morning. D.J. and Chase were a little hyper but settled down after 10am. The weather was a little nicer not as bad but not good either still in the -twenties C with windshield, can't wait for this snap to get going and gone. I did work on finishing a little project that Leanne has on her blog (The stitching room) some cool tutorial (link is http://thestitchingroom.blogspot.com/2007/10/thread-holder-pattern.html) I hope that its' ok to post the link if anyone is interested in it. Here's mine.

They have a few different patterns I would like to make ....LOL. The downfall today for me was missing my fitball class. Boy now I have to go in the basement and go on the treadmill. Ah, I guess "Say la vie" Will make up for time tonight.

PS: I could have used other colors of fabric but these are my trial one using scraps, next ones I will select better .

Is this still winter??

Well, it was -36 C today with the windshield. Thought this crazy weather was done. Go figure LOL. Did some quilting, but did play around with picture to add to my blog. Did also get a new dew (hair) and dye. Cool cut. I'll have to change my pic (hehe). Ran around and didn't feel like I accomplised much, but oh well that what happens on Fridays.

I did however feel great after when I went to the gym and did cardio. Thanks again D. That cleared my head....love it ....... And were supposed to get better weather (I hope so).....

Now I'll go and add some pictures and go relax ,.
