Getting Better

Wow, this place is starting to get better LOL...getting organized and painting and and and lol...went to a guild meeting last night , had great time.. they always have some kinda "how to" or new methods etc... and this is every Monday evening..I also got on the Xmas evening committee, what fun. The theme is "Twas the night before Xmas" so you can imagine..lol... anyways, thought I'd better post few pics of the before and after sewing room... the only thing is that it's not complete, completed but is functioning LOL...need to add few shelves and make it a little homier... so here it is..oh, yes I did cut some fabrics for a mystery quilt, this is fun.making new friends ..loving it, but, also missing some friends..love yas all and still... Ok,, folks, I finally got my mojo going LOL... yep, I got my little sewing room (9 x 10) unpacked wanted this room upstairs where it's bright and can see outdoors, could have taken the room downstairs it's bigger but naw ....sooooo,,, I'll be oiling up my machine so we can get that peddle to the floor, and stitch up a storm...I'll have to take few pictures LOL... I did also paint our bedroom as per my sister the designer (LOL) in Ralph Laurent suede ...it turned out great but my arm and wrist are sore hehe..doing the xxx's are a pain...LOL we'll be getting our furniture on the 30th,, boohoo this waiting sucks hehe...but will look great...soo,,, I'll take pics tomorrow and post them nothing fancy though so I hope I don't disappoint yous all.. for now, Ciao, Salute, Adios, Bonsoirs mes amis a demain...

ALMOST???

Alright so I was wrong, heehee,,,, I'm almost organized upstairs,,, just have to put away some of my fabric bins (containers), humm probably about 14 of them ,LOL,,, had to make some shelves to accommodate them im this big closet in the room I'm setting up for sewing... also will need to paint room by room in between,,,,,,but in the mean time we had some sad news,,, my uncle Larry, who has been ill for a while, peacefully passed away Monday morning,,,we have been doing little stuff for the family (which we don't mind one bit, they are such a big close family and love them all so dearly) , he will be missed by all .... I'm once again blogging just a little tonight,,,oh, went to our quilt guild meeting last night and had a great time...what a bunch of lovely ladies...I also purchased a Little Gracy II (got a great deal hehe ,,,, weeehoooo,,,, will set that up too..... hoping , by the end of the week will be up and sewing......thanks to the wonderful ladies who have been patient and also you comments have been keeping me going...thank yous, its greatly appreciated gals.....Ciao, Salute, Adios, Good nightie, Bonsoirs me amis........

Moving

Well, at last, we have the net, cable etc..and we are now in our little house,,,lol,,,,we finally emptied our trailer and now have to unpack,,,humm not sure how long that'll take but we are in...yahoo...the fun is just beginning..painting, etc... but can take our time... now need to organize my new sewing room lol can't wait to start, I have joined in with some ladies in our quilt guild and with other guilds in a mystery quilt...this should be fun,, we all go to this quilt shop to pick up or next clue,,, we have the first one and I will have to take pictures and post,,, I'll start this week lol.... now I can ...sooo folks, just a short blog to let you know that I'll be blogging more and can't wait to read more bloggers posts too....... Oh me, oh my so much paperwork involved in moving from one province to another,,,, like license, vehicle plates, vehicle insurance , house insurance, house purchase LOL,,, lawyers, city , hydro , water (which we didn't need to worry about in Thompson) cable, phone , internet of course LOL.,,, medical stuff, bank stuff, retirement stuff.... GOOD GRACIOUS LOL...... and much more.... wheeeewww,,, I think I'll have to just plopp down for few minutes hehe and maybe relax,,NOT,,, want to get things all done so I can kick back and sew sew sew my butt off....lol......So,,,, only 5 more sleeps, and then I'll be running around but in my house LOL.. Guild?????

Oh my, I just had to inquire lol at one of the quilt shops in Sudbury about quilt guild...well,,,, Pat informed me that there were a few , and said that I might want to check out the guild closer to where I am (Azilda) which is in Chelmsford (about 8min drive) they are calle "Rayside Balfour Stitchery Guild" ..woohoo ,, I got a ladies name and not shy me (considered social butterfly LOL) called Maxine and (LOL) with this information she gave me, attended my first meeting here...What a great bunch of ladies, from young to old and such a big guild (for me) there was 61 quilters in the guild..including me which approx 42 attended, and they made me feel so welcomed (as if they wouldn't lol) ..... don't get me wrong , ladies in Thompson are still in my hearts and will always be .... I can't believe that this guild meets every Monday night, yes I said every Monday and also they get together on Thursday (9am-3pm) for quilting whatever your heart desires.....WOW... Im going to be busy when I get all my sewing unpacked LOL. Now I'm counting down,,,, only 2 weeks before we move into our place....hummm not anxious LOL..posting a few pics of Manitoulin Island... beautiful place to see... soooooo.....
