World Wide Quilt Day

Sunday today and I am sure Pooped....lolol.... went quilting from 9am to 8pm along with some of our beautiful ladies from our guild (Rayside Balfour Stitchery Guild) here in Great City of Sudbury, Ontario.... We had loads of fun, some of us crazy gals went in our PJ's, had to make it a comfy day right :)  that would be the only time I stay in jammies all day LOL... there was a lot of cuddle quilts that were finished up and all thanks to one lady who's been this leader of the charitable quilts Marg Dagget and some who helped her this day..some of us worked on our own, and of course I sewed up a storm to realize after all this that I had screwed up OMG,, too funny, some said they would just chuck it and start again, but no, it's my screw up so I need to fix it (stubbornness I think lol) have to make this right, sooooo started today to re-sew and become a nice green frog...rip it , rip it ... Where's Spring

Alrighty, yes I've been slack in posting this winter....got caught up doing lots and not taking the time to write.. And Yes I have been sewing and trying to catch up on some UFOs I have a few more to go then in between of course started more LOLOL... I also went to Manitoba for a girlfriends reunion/curling bonspiel  that was long due. We had curled for many many years together then one of our girls moved southern Mb and hadn't done so since 1999, I have moved back home to Ontario after 27 years living in Thompson Mb...so from Brandon Mb, Lac du Bonnet Mb, Winnipeg Mb and Sudbury Ont off we went to Portage la Prairie...Oh my, was like old times, our friendship never ended, we are all caught up on what's happened during the years and like I said , it didn't feel like we were apart... I guess when you have friendship like that it never fades aways....I also started before Christmas going to the gym "The Basement on King" wow, was I out of shape, and now trying to follow the Paleo Lifestyle (I cheated a few times but it's OK back on track) ...... Anyhow back to quilting, I just got stuck on Missouri Star Company (and still am) and had to try out some of the tutorials lolol... I've posted a few pics but not quite done, have to quilt the Big Star one and starting a new single size one this Saturday with ladies from our guild (a little quilt retreat) and just happens to be World Wide Quilt Day..woohooo.... So, anyone have an idea where's Spring...... wow Mother Nature must be pms'ng lolol... can't wait for snow to blow...haven't even see a Robin yet...how about you???  well, I'll be posting pics of this Saturday, hope yous are all going to stitch away the Day....
