Great week so far LOL... had a great time this week , on Thursday, spent most of the day with some of our lovely ladies from the quilt guild ,,humm sewing day LOL...we worked on doing more of the in house quilt blocks, the pineapple log cabin paper piecing one,,,as previously blogged LOL..did 3 more blocks,,wow now I'm entered many more times to get a chance to win this quilt (end of May) .... I also today finally worked on the Tisket a Tasket BOM (see side bar and check it out) lots of new blocks on http://www.bunnyhill.blogspot.com/ site.. not much else,, oh just again, thanks to my new friend for such a grand time... we are too much....lol...have yourselves a super weekend (cuddling up under quilt, temperature going down down down ouch ) so... Oh dear me...had a great week so far,,,lol,,,, meeting on Monday, great time of course, lots of laughter and a blast with my friends,... Oh, reorganized my sewing room,,,wanted to add a cabinet to store my patterns and few bins of fabric lol ,,Mom was over to pick us up to get out red beast at the car hospital ,,was in there a whole week,,, what a shaamazell,,,lol..needed wheels and my cousin loaned us her purple PT cruise said she had hubby's truck didn't need hers ,,,,awe,, thanks Gaetane..will have to make her something for her new house that she just moved into (big new house)..... Tuesday,,, sew sew,,then booty camp ,,ouch,,, still,, lol... today sew sew sew ,, geese's anyone lol... 338 (2 extras) geese's (all for mystery quilt) , all done,,,all square off WOW,,,won't do those sometimes soon,, humm unless friend need help,,umm will have to think about that one....lol...tomorrow sew sew sew with the guild (day thingy) we will be sewing more blocks for the in house quilt... BRrrr FREEZONE

Again, this week was brrrr freeze zone LOL... many days to stay in a warm cozy place.... I know that other Provinces along with the other parts of the world... phew...now hopefully the sun can warm up the air and we can start melting away hehehehe... I had a good week, Monday went to the quilt guild, had a blast..we laughed so hard that some had tears... on the way home all I could think of is the old song "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts,....." lol... we also had a draw for 2 beautiful quilted bags that was created with the leftover fabrics of a in house quilt...woohoo I actually won ..couldn't believe it... it was the second bag... I will use that and showed it off to my family..great big thank you...then we had to bring the truck into the shop on Monday ,,,still waiting for it...diesel mechanics are few and far between... oh well,,, patience , patience (not)...Tuesday, myself and two other ladies went to the quilt shop "Country Quilter" to pick up our #5 clue for our mystery quilt..wow, 336 flying geese,,,that should keep me busy.....lol....I did do some sewing, completed the rag quilt and just send hubby to laundry mat to run through their washer...will have to take pics and post tomorrow. Friday I was invited to join a few ladies for "girls day out" we had a great time.lots of laughter once again......and yes I cheated, bought a few pieces of fabric...only 2 meters in total....sorry.....(not) Thank you ladies,,,,that was a blast... so here I am relaxing...so Ciao, Salute, Adios, Nighty Nite,,,and Bonsoirs mes amis....

OK, BUSTED

Whew, can't believe how time is flying by..lol...so ok I've busted my booty last week and this one..lol... went to the booty fitness camp and boy, did I work it out wow (just wish that D's classes were here, much better stuff)...... was sore, never tried this kick boxing (they have some in this class) ouch is what I can say (I'm not much of a kicker) ..but I also have been to quilt group (last Sat, Mond and Thursday) and they have a lot going on lol.....they just started a "inclub quilt" (queen size) which will be raffled off to some lucky member (hoping it's me) lol... we cut fabric and sorted and put pattern and fabric in a bag to give to members participating, (65 bags) it is the pineapple paper piecing block ,(10 /2 finished) this will be really nice...I'll post the pic soon as I'm completed the block...we also did a little reno...sorry said I'd wait til new year (this is lol) ...bathroom vanity and a little plumbing, voila,,, cute little bathroom... I also replaced dull curtains in the living room,,, added few accessories, getting cozy..my house is not brand new or huge, just big enough for both of us and don't have to clean for days (lol, just kidding) want to quilt and do other stuff..... In reading other great blogs I came across a few good places to check out,,,,one is a free block of the month over at Bunny Tales, at: http://bunnyhill.blogspot.com/ ....this one will be fun to do...and cute......so,,, Ciao, Adios, Salute, Night Nite,,, and Bonsoir mes amis....

STASHBUSTING 2009

Wow, I was visiting kathyswfl-kathysthisandthatandquilts.blogspot.com and reading how she is participating in the STASHBUSTING 2009, thought that this was a wonderful idea...I clicked on her link to : Judy's site at: www.patchworktimes.com/stashbusting-in-2009/ .. you know I have been collecting way too much fabric and therefore LOL,,, need to commit myself to do the busting ..lol... so I have downloaded the pledge and I am going to work on that tonight and fill it out and post it in my sewing room. Day 1

LOL, ok so this is Day 1 for the 2009, so far, so good, except for too much eating , no excersises, way to much relaxing and renovation in 2008 so,,,,,,, this day forward I declare the year of "HAVE FUN, ENJOY LIFE TO THE FULLEST, TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME AND MOST OF ALL .....BE GOOD TO YOURSELF AND LOVED ONES" ...oh, also happy stitching .......I'd like to hear what YOUR resolution is,,,, mine is: as per above,,,also try to use up my stash,,,that way...lol when I'm very very low, I can get new and start all over...lol... also,,,I have signed up for the Booty Boot Camp (I also signed up my sister) just to get a kick start and I know we will have fun...........Lets start the this New Year on the right foot (humm or left) LOL....Thanks yous all......
